Location: North Sea Offshore Platform
Rotation: 2 weeks on / 3 weeks off
Salary: €5,500 – €6,200 gross per month (including shift allowance), depending on
experience

The Role

As an Offshore Mechanic, you play a key role in keeping our production platform running
safely and efficiently. You will be responsible for the mechanical maintenance of critical
equipment, troubleshooting issues, carrying out repairs, and ensuring accurate
documentation of all activities.
Your focus will be on rotating equipment such as pumps, motors, valves, and compressors.
Alongside day-to-day maintenance, you will also perform inspections, supervise vendor
overhauls, and support the preparation of major shutdowns or modifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform planned and corrective mechanical maintenance on equipment
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical faults and breakdowns
  • Record maintenance activities in the computerized maintenance system
  • Prepare materials, work permits, and technical documentation for maintenance work
  • Report technical findings and deviations to the Maintenance Supervisor
  • Collaborate closely with operations, contractors, and external suppliers on the platform

What You Bring

  • A completed vocational qualification in Mechanical Engineering (MBO level 3 or 4, or equivalent)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a mechanic in the (process) industry or offshore
  • Experience with rotating equipment (pumps, valves, motors) is an advantage
  • Strong command of both Dutch and English
  • Valid offshore certification (NOGEPA 0.5A, 0.5B) or willingness to obtain them
